I put these strings on my Hohner Classical yesterday and they are great. First of all they feel good and are soft to the touch. The sound is really mellow. I had no problems attaching the strings (my first experience) thank to you tube. They showed me how to tie of the ends. After one day I have to keep tuning the stings. After about five adjustments they seem to be holding.
If you are looking for a new set of strings check these out.
This is not a paid political annoucment.

I recommend these strings and will try to use them exclusively. Their sound is rich, balanced and articulate; these are the first classical guitar strings I have found that I can strum chords when I play rock without getting a muddy sound. The silver and black looks cool too! My guitar is a LaPatrie.

5 out of 5 stars The sound I was looking for.   June 9, 2010

The strings deliver a clean and clear sound, I believe they have the ability to make any guitar sound amazing. I highly recommend this product. Great quality for strumming and picking.

4 out of 5 stars Great nylon string   August 9, 2009

I got this string set to replace the original strings on my new classical guitar (it was strung with D'addario). My first, cheap, beginner classical guitar was strung with black nylon set and I love the sound and the sleek look on my guitar. That's why when I see that this set is black string, I purchase it immediately.

I can the difference immediately compared to the original string. the sound comes out brighter and more defined. Also, since the rotosound string set are normal tension strings, it doesn't make my fingers tired easily and playing the chords with ease.

the bad thing about this set is that in fact this is a normal tension set. When I started some heavy strumming, it buzzed a bit. probably my new guitar needs some neck/action adjustment, but so far that's the only bad thing I've seen with this set

Pros:
-clear and bright tones
-adds sleek look for the guitar
-cheap but it looks and feels very high quality

cons:
-minor buzz when playing with heavy strumming

overall:
highly recommended nylon string set. cheap and it could make your guitar sounds better than before.
