5 out of 5 stars These strings Rock!   March 29, 2007

These 80/20 Bronze strings feel and sound batter than any Phosphor Bronze strings I've ever played. They give my steel string acoustic guitar the Electric feel I want, more than any other strings I've tried. Not quite Super Slinky, but more Slinky than other acoustic strings available. I'll never switch back to Phosphor Bronze again! The plain steel 'G' string makes less noise when changing chords too. Some reviews say this string won't stay tuned, but I've never had a problem. They even stay tuned under extreme bending conditions. Less neck tension too. I give the Rock and Blues strings 2 thumbs up! Too bad my local music stores won't stock them, so I'm ordering 2 sets from Amazon.

5 out of 5 stars Get Your Hands On Ernie Balls   September 28, 2005

Nothing feels better in your hands than Ernie Balls. Its that familiar feeling when your hand is wrapped around the neck and your fingers are plucking Ernie Balls that make these strings give off that pleasing sound. If you're not plucking Ernie Balls, you're just playing with sagging strings.

4 out of 5 stars Good!   August 30, 2009

I have only tried a few brands and varieties of strings so far, because ive only been playing guitar for about a year, but these are a great pace to start. Try them out at least! Very good sound.

3 out of 5 stars A little too slinky...   July 25, 2008

I mistakenly bought these, but a buyer should know that the G string is NOT wound. I bought the same Ernie Ball 80/20's with the wound G with an little E of 12 (live and learn). Those sound great.
